A rainy day adventure...

It was nap time. It started to rain and we had to turn back early. But it was so worth it to get out and into the mountains, even just for a bit, with friends and nature. So, I consider our first snowshoeing adventure a success:) Looking forward to going again soon.

Hoping your weekend held a bit of adventure as well,
Jen

SO much fun!! So, at first glance at the first picture (before I clicked on it and made it big) you TOTALLY looked like your mom! It was amazing! Same smile or something. Anyway, about the big boy bed. We have the crib that converts, so one side came off. We did that for a few weeks (bc he was climbing out of it anyway) before moving him to the big boy bed. During those two weeks anytime he slept somewhere not his own, he'd want to sleep in the "big" bed (like, a Queen size bed). We'd usually humor him and he usually slept great (didn't fall off or anything). I think he was ready for more space. I wouldn't rush the babes. I know you are all about letting them develop at their own rate. They'll let you know when they're ready. Good luck!!!

Such good pictures of you and "Sergey" and family! Great coloring on the photos also...kind of old fashioned looking! I know that outing was therapeutic for all of you!!! Big people, as well as little super heroes need breaks! :) gma

WOW- looks like so much fun all bundled up. And on snow shoes-- I'm so impressed. Oh I am tired of this 60-70 degree weather here, but know it's only going to get warmer from here! It just looks so wonderfully beautiful there.
