Advent: Day 8

Though church is challenging right now with an often sleepy, restless baby and a two year old who is not ready to sit quietly but not wanting or willing to stay in nursery, it is still such an encouragement when we go. Today's message about Christ's birth was that He came not only for the weak and vulnerable, but also for the powerful, like Americans. Like us. What do we do with our resources, our life of choices? Challenging. 

Joel took the kiddos sledding and then I took Sam to the craft store to stock up on craft supplies for the week. Now we are off to read and then bed and then maybe I'll get to do a bit of wrapping tonight! Not counting on it. zzzzzzzz. Love to you! Jen
