His whole face smiles.

Sam continues to make us laugh with his new found dancer within. At the most random times he'll just start groovin' with his whole body and we all just crack up. He also loves to shake these jingle bell sticks...we think maybe he is a budding musician:) We try not to put the babes in any boxes or say ,"Oh Amelia/Sam is going to be so this or that" ,but it is undeniable that their little personalities were evident from day one and haven't changed much at all. So, last night I was reading a book called " You are your child's first teacher" during our reading hour after the babies were asleep. I have loved it when Tara and Joel and I are all reading about different things and pipe up about something interesting or worthy of note from our respective books. Last night Tara and I were both reading about Waldorf philosophy and Joelie was reading about...hmmm...a medical non-fiction novel I think. Anyhow, I was reading about why Rudolf Steiner believed children could be so different from one another. He described four main temperaments and we just couldn't believe when I read this one. It started with, "This is a child who is very dreamy and likes to sit. Sometimes movement seems like too much effort for this type of child. These children are very concerned with the comfort of their bodies , and their favorite part of the day is often snack time. " This is completely, 100% Sam. What about Amelia, you ask? Let's just say the description of the temperament we thought was most like hers ended with the sentence, " Well known examples of this fiery temperament would be Napoleon or Teddy Roosevelt:)
Oh, these precious babes. I tell you, my love for them just grows and grows. Jen
