Friends.

I finally captured the excitement that goes on around here when Anne and Vera come for a visit (which is pretty regularly, which makes their excitement even more endearing). Then a bit of them eating a snack together in the Learning Tower. I walked around the corner to find Sam and Vera standing there munching on my chips I had left out at lunch:) So adorable, these three.

Oh my goodness what JOY! I giggled so hard watching their complete joy that their friend was there. If only we would greet our friends like that as adults! Oh to be a child and let go of our inhibitions and experience joy like that again!

I agree with Jocelyn...wouldn't it be great if we all greeted each other in the same way. Some of my fondest memories are when Ashley's girls would greet me that way...now, they just look at me and scream for Maggie :)

Remember when that Italian actor jumped over the seats at the Oscars when he won best actor for Life is Wonderful? His enthusiasm & energy was even unbridled in real life and that's what made/makes him so endearing. Ya'll are right - some lessons we could learn from preciousnesses standing at the door. Vera!! Hi!!! (before they even can hear you) Let's try that when we see our friend driving up or when we're driving up to their house. I love Amelia's calm posture and then crazy scream of excitement. Again - I'd love to know the classical collection you're listening to...
