Our new favorite thing...

Seriously, we spend hours out on the front porch these days. I wish you guys could come sit and chat while we swing, swing, swing.

And a couple more for ya....

The babes looking oh, so serious...

Amelia looking a little happier...

And here is one of Sammy and bub from the other day. He was in Park City with CrossCanadian so we got to run up and visit with him for a while....last year this time is when we followed the band (bub really) around a couple of states on our big summer road trip. Camping in Chalice, ID next to the music festival was one of the best parts of the trip...my how times have changed! However, we did take Amelia and Sam hiking the other day and it was great. It felt so good to be back on a trail (you know, since I'm such an avid hiker:) and the scenery was amazing. Don't worry, I took lots of pics of course! Anyway, we were so happy to see my brother again and I think he was pretty happy to see two little certain someones:)

Guess that's all for now. I haven't been very good at the whole "sleep when they sleep" concept and I must start . I have a feeling that will all change on Friday when the grandparents leave...I'll be falling into bed at 9:30 with them!

Hope all is well with you friends, Jen

Oh Jen...what sweet pictures! It won't be long before Amelia & Sam outgrow that Moses basket! I remember you telling me how much you longed to fill that basket up with your little ones...and here they are overflowing :) Sam & Amelia look so much alike in the 2nd picture! Such cutie pies. Wish I could come and swing, swing, swing with you and the kiddos.

Enjoy your rest and the last few days with the extra sets of arms! Love ya ~ Court

Hi Jenny,

The pics are great and I'm glad you get to enjoy the swinging. We would love to come sit on the porch w/you sometime - whenever the babes are allowed to be around other kiddos. Just let me know. Also, now that the grandparents are leaving, I hope there are some ways that I can help you out. I could babysit or help w/cooking or whatever... do let me know what I can do. This weekend we're going on the NS camping trip but I'll be around next week.

Oh!!! I LOVE the front porch swing! I can hear the sound of the wooden porch under my feet and the sound of the door closing and then the little squeaks and squawks and coos and yawns from the babies and the cool breeze filtering through the cedars there in front and around the side and see the cars pass by and the girls come out and take their breaks across the street and the sound of gravel crunching as "Y" drives in to say hello to his favorite couple. I LOVE it. That porch is GREAT. I did some of my greatest thinking and processing on that porch while there. What an emotional time. Wow. I love remembering our (Tim's & my) luggage on the porch with my bouquet drying on top. Thank you thank you thank you for letting us stay there overnight.

And Amelia!! What in the world?! I don't remember you looking so serious. Oh that is so funny with them both looking so serious. I love them and can't wait to spend more time with both of them. I love her little outfit - and
Sam's Athletic pants. ;)

Ok, well, I'd better go shopping downstairs in the Galleria!! (I'm at class for work w/Tim at the Galleria and he brought me here to enjoy it while he goes to class).

Love you ALL!!

PS Tammy - I don't know who you are, but THANK YOU for offering to help my precious sisnluv, bro, and my neice and nephew!!

after our little one arrives, i am sure a nice rock in the swing, with its noises and the breeze, would put it right to sleep. casey and i will have to make a trek to SLC so we can sip tea out of tall glasses and chat and compare baby stories and advice and and and.
